Kevin & Lynn Tyler
Since 1987, Kevin and Lynn Tyler, both registered teachers (Queensland Government and Private Schools) and former ELICOS and VET College Directors, have successfully managed Study Tour programs in Brisbane, Toowoomba, northern New South Wales and the Gold Coast regions for students from Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia, New Caledonia and Brazil. Many of these Study Tour programs continue to be linked with Primary and Secondary Schools (Private and Public), Kindergartens and Universities. Their collective and respected careers in education bring much experience, distinction and knowledge to Tyler International’s programs.
In their former roles as founding owners and Directors of Queensland International Business Academy (QIBA), an Australian Government Registered ELICOS and VET College on the Gold Coast, Kevin and Lynn have personally been responsible for several “sister/brother school” relationships which continue to operate successfully today. The most notable sister school relationship between Reitaku High School in Chiba (Japan) and Trinity Lutheran College in Ashmore (Gold Coast) celebrates its 25th year of a continuous 5-week Intensive English High School Program in 2017. This international experience for young students is not only motivational for English language development but also beneficial for future career preparation.
